Terms and Conditions – YubiRings

1. General
1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all products and services offered by YubiRings, based The Hague, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number Chamber of Commerce number: 97351261.
1.2 By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Products
2.1 All rings are handmade from old cutlery, coins, or other reused materials.
2.2 Each ring is unique. The final product may therefore differ from the photos shown on the website or social media.
2.3 Due to the nature of the metals used, some rings may cause discoloration on the skin. This is normal and depends on individual skin chemistry.

3. Orders and Custom Work
3.1 Custom rings fall under our fixed products (bestsellers), which are specially made for you based on your ring size. For these custom rings, the statutory right of withdrawal (the 14-day cooling-off period) is excluded, except in cases of defects or non-conformity.
3.2 One of a kind rings are unique, pre-made rings sold directly from stock. For these rings, the statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days after receipt applies, provided the product is returned in its original condition.
3.3 When placing an order, you are responsible for providing the correct ring size. 

4. Payment and Delivery
4.1 Payment must be completed in full before production begins.
4.2 Delivery time depends on workload and material availability but will always be communicated in advance.
4.3 Shipping is handled via a reliable courier. YubiRings is not liable for delays or damages caused during transport.

5. Warranty and Liability
5.1 Due to the handmade and vintage nature of the materials, minor wear or aging is normal and part of the product’s character.
5.2 If a structural issue occurs within 3 months of delivery (such as breakage during normal use), please contact us. This warranty does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
5.3 YubiRings is not responsible for allergic reactions, skin discoloration, or damage resulting from improper use of the jewelry, including possible reactions in people with a copper allergy.
5.4 Due to use and wear over time, rings may develop sharp edges or points. It is the customer’s responsibility to regularly check for wear and to use the ring with care. YubiRings is not liable for any injury or damage resulting from wearing a worn or damaged ring.

6. Intellectual Property
6.1 All designs, photos, and texts on the website and social media are the property of YubiRings and may not be used without permission.

7. Other
7.1 In cases not covered by these terms, YubiRings will act in reasonable judgment.
7.2 All agreements are governed by Dutch law.

8. Privacy
8.1 Personal data provided during ordering (such as name, address, and email) is used solely for processing and shipping your order.
8.2 This information will not be shared with third parties, except when necessary for delivery (e.g., postal services).
8.3 YubiRings does not store this information longer than necessary and deletes it after the order has been completed.

9. Complaints
9.1 If you have a complaint about a product or service, please contact us within 7 days of discovering the issue via yubi.rings.cs@gmail.com.
9.2 We aim to respond to all complaints within 5 working days.
9.3 If we cannot resolve the issue together, you can also submit your complaint through the European ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
